Through diversity to unity and synergy

Short description

The workshop is intended for the teams with the aim of their deeper connection, empowerment and development of the quality communication and colaboration.

About workshop

DISC model is a simple tool whch has been assisting people for decades to understand themselves and others better, to achieve
quality communication and establish better relationships. The workshop begins by filling in a DISC questionaire, after which the participants of the workshop are able to better understand their behavioral style, or ‘colour’.
DISC acronym – stands for:

Dominance – dominant & red: brings execution and incentive
Influence – influential & yellow: brings new ideas and energy
Stability/Steadiness – stable & green: brings objectivity and cohesion
Cautiousness/Conscientiousness – cautious & blue: brings unity/structure and precision

Understanding and application of DISC model in work environment is very practical and can help in developing more effective leadership, establishing team connection, enhancing teamwork and colaboration between people, improving communication, reducing conflicts … but can also bring many other benefits to teams and organisation.

The participants of the workshop will become aware how they can adjust their communication and behaviour in order to achieve the results faster. The value of the workshop is also in the fact that the participants will understand that all styles and colours have their own strengths as well as weaknesses and that there is no one best style – that all styles are equally good and valuable. Everyone is a combination of all four styles, while most people incline to one or two styles; other factors, beyond the domain of DISC, such as life experience, education and maturity also influence our workstyle.

Through interactive workshop, through their own and others’ examples, the participants will become aware of the motivational needs of each style, which tasks and environments are suitable for each style, how they react under stress, and how to achieve the best communication. In a nutshel, how to achieve better and greater effectiveness; they will have all this recorded as well.
