Mindful living through 5 Human Values

Short description

The goal of this programme, lasting 5 months, is to become awakened, and to proove that unvailing inner ethics and Human Values – Righteousness, Peace, Love, Truth and Non-violence – deeply mold our character and thereby the quality of our life, as well as the way we perceive the world around us.

Detailed description

The programme is concieved as one continuous proccess of keeping attention on positive contemplation, activation of empathy, and awakening of inner creativity. Through 4 weekly meetings in one month one Human Value would be explored – 5 months, 5 basic Human Values.

One month – one Value:

  • First meeting – lecture, live presentation of one Human Value.
  • Second meeting – The team working on the project visits a person or a firm practising that Human Value. A video interview is made showing an example of good practise, which is then presented through social media.
  • Third meeting – working on the text covering one Value through all its depth and breath.
  • Fourth meeting – (on Sunday) is the day for an in person retreat. Peaceful and silent integration of the Value which was the topic of the month resulting in inner growth.

Benefits of the programme

    • Encourages contemplation on how we can live our life focusing on unchanging, basic Values when making our short-term and long-term decisions
    • Presents and teaches 5 basic attention exercises through which we can easily enter meditation and inner peace
    • Encourages togetherness and helping others
    • Increases mindful living
    • Showcasing ‘shining’ examples of good practise stresses the value of persistance and belief in oneself
